PRAYER ALERT!

Unless the Lord chooses to miraculously intervene, (and we continue to hope for that as our ultimate prayer...) William is scheduled for eye surgery today at approximately 1:00 pm CST.

 

The exam conducted by the specialist in Houston on Wednesday confirmed that the baby's right retina had detached. Josh and Noelle are aware that once that occurs, there are only a few days with which to act upon (in  prayer and finally surgery) to preserve the eyesight and prevent blindness in that eye. The Lord has been most gracious to provide an outstanding doctor. Today's surgery for reattachment is a very delicate one, and one we most earnestly desire to be covered in your prayers.

 

We ask that today you would graciously join us in prayer to the Lord Jesus, the Heavenly Specialist for...

a. the LORD's sovereign grace of healing before surgery—should He choose to intervene,

b. or for continued healing during and after, as a result of surgery—should that be God's vehicle for restored vision.

c. a quick and complete recovery with a short interval on the respirator.

d. early release from the hospital, and safe passage driving home.

 

Luke, the physician, when referring to Jesus' teaching, exhorted us all by writing, "...men always ought to pray and not lose heart" (Luke 18:1).
