Dear family and friends,
Each year since our marriage in 2001, Josh and I have been blessed with a precious gift. Our latest gift arrived precisely at the appointed time -- 3 days after Christmas. Frankly, after one critical pre-mature delivery in William's case, and one way-over-due "entry" in Richard's case, knowing #3's birth date ahead of time was the Lord's gift of grace to our whole family. The only thing overdue this time, however, has been getting the word out to all our extended family-in-the-faith. Here is our "better-late-than-never" announcement and update of our precious gifts of joy -- times three -- from newest to oldest:

6Myles -- named, Edmund Myles Goforth
(5 months old already!)
born on December 28, 2004

Weighing 7 lbs. 5 oz. and measuring 18 1/2 inches

Now you can imagine, with three little boys--three and under--we prayed that the Lord would give us a peaceful child in Myles. He still sleeps a good portion of the day, and when awake he is very peaceful, unless he is hungry, of course--and that's about the only time he complains, royally. He will smile at the drop of a hat, and I know you're already putting together his motto ‘Myles smiles!’ He also coos at the slightest encouragement, which endears him to us all. We have been so blessed with our new arrival, and hope that you will all get to meet him soon. So far, he has been a dream baby and an answer to prayer.

3Richard -- born February 27, 2003
(2 years old already!)

We have our hands full with this little bundle of energy. Richard reminds me of what my dad would have been like as a toddler. And boy, does he love his Grandpa Bear, who always takes time away from his work to give Richard a motorbike or lawnmower ride. ‘Ah mower’ is Richard’s favorite word. The other day, Aimee and I took the boys to McDonald’s and Home Depot for a little outing. At Home Depot Richard was in heaven climbing on the row of bright green John Deere lawnmowers! He liked that much more than the play yard at McDonald’s, maybe even more than the ice-cream sundae. But ‘tanny’ [candy] tops everything. He lives for candy, which we rarely give him, though he asks for it constantly. We just learned that Grandpa Richard's first nickname wasn't Grandpa Bear. It was ‘Dickie Candy.’ Hum, they say the acorn doesn't fall very far from the tree. Was that a ‘gum’ tree, perhaps?

1William -- born January 21, 2002 (3 years old already!)

William is our little angel--our micro-preemie turned big boy! He still doesn't sit up or walk on his own, but he continues to make encouraging headway despite the limitations of his cerebral palsy. His personality is a delight to us all as he breaks out into a great beaming smile when given even just a little attention. Will loves his brothers. The other day I placed Myles on William's tummy and he held on tight with both hands. (So did I!) This is a big thing for him since most of his motor skills are at the age of a 3 to 5-month-old. When I took Myles away, William started to cry. So, I put Myles back on his tummy. William stopped crying and smiled. He never ceases to amaze us!

Since Josh and I haven’t ventured very far from home lately, we continue to be encouraged and blessed by the reports dad and mom bring back from their ministry tours. We are told that many people -- who have never met William -- are still asking about him, still praying for him, and still expressing heartfelt interest in his progress. Our joy is made complete by the outpouring of love and prayers, and beyond complete, by the sacrificial giving that continues to be sent towards William's outstanding medical bills. We are eternally grateful to each and every family who has stood with us over these years, and been a part of the awesome provision of the Lord.

May our Heavenly Father bless you and your family to the fullest extent with His perfect love and perfect gifts from above. (James 1:17)

Much love always,
Josh, Noelle, William, Richard, and Myles Goforth
